Asendance is an inclusive dance class for individuals with any special educational needs.

Our aim is for everyone to make new friends, have fun and dance, whilst gaining confidence and new skills in and out of performance.

Our classes include a warmup, exercises for turns, kicks, loosening and we finish with a dance routine.

Asendance also do BTDA award-based examinations plus give the chance to perform in the Ann Oliver Stage School annual show. There is also the opportunity to perform on Thursday nights in other events. All of these are optional and there is no pressure to take exams or perform in shows.

Asendance is based in the Leicester City Centre at the International Arts Centre.

We currently have two classes on a Monday evening.

Primary School age 5.00pm – 6.00pm

Secondary School age upwards 6.15pm – 7.15pm

All teachers are fully qualified and hold current DBS.
